What is the color for 2021? This is one of the most difficult questions to answer for any bride. Deciding what color to use for your wedding and then decorating your bedroom can be a challenge. But don’t worry – I’ve done all the homework for you.
Start with your wedding colors. There are a few traditional colors that always work well in themed weddings, but make sure you know them ahead of time. They should be harmonized with the theme you want to create. Some of these include:
Gold: This is the color of wealth, so it will match nicely with the formal dresses and gowns. It’s also appropriate to wear gold jewelry like a gold necklace and earrings. If you do this, make sure the color you choose doesn’t have any accents like silver or bronze. The neutral colors will really pop against the gold. Silver can be a good choice too, but not as much as the gold.
Green: These can be very soothing colors if they are combined with a relaxing background. Earth tones like off-white, taupe, and brown are great. A pillow white chair will be perfect. If you want a splash of color in your room, add a green plant next to a window in a sunny room. Not only does the color stimulate the eye, it gives a sense of harmony.
Red: The color of love. This one can be hard to pull off, but it does have a lot of promise. A dramatic red color paired with a floral print will be stunning. But be sure that the color doesn’t compete with everything else.
Pink: You’ve probably seen this color on a makeup compact, but it can have a whole new look when it’s paired with fresh flowers. If you’re going for a feminine look in your bedroom decorating, pink will work well. But you don’t want it to be too feminine. Too many pink shades can make your room seem small and overcrowded.
Blue: This is another color with a lot of potential. However, you don’t want to go too extreme with this one. It has to be subtle enough to fit in with other colors in the room, but striking enough to stand out. It’s great for use in a bed frame, but you might want to leave it out of the headboard and on certain items of furniture like a dresser. If you really want a blue bedroom decor, go with a pure white frame. This one is going to stand out among other shades.
Orange: The color of an orange is a favorite among those who enjoy bold color schemes. If you are leaning more towards this type of bedroom decorating, you might want to choose a shade that is close to yellow. This one works well with a lot of other colors, but is best left alone. Not everyone likes oranges!
Yellow: This color is one of those that is often viewed as being too girly. But don’t let the light reflect off of yellow walls! If you are leaning more towards a bold yellow, make sure you do a lot of white. White is a great color for a kid’s bedroom. It pops and brightens up the room!
Green: These days there are so many greens that it can be hard to decide on the right one. If you want something very light and breezy, you will want to go with a very light green. This is a favorite among those who enjoy nature. If you are more into neutral colors, then a dark green works well!
Purple: While purple isn’t on the list because it’s not a good match for anything else, it certainly does have its place. It works great with just about everything. In fact, it is one of those must haves! If you have a boy, you could choose purple bedding. If you have a girl, you could go with pink!
Blue: One of the most popular colors for the twenty-first century! It is soft, soothing, calming. A blue room would be perfect for a child! While you are thinking about what is the color for 2021, make sure you have white!
